GUDELINES FOR DEVELOPING the educa books site

 

IMPORTANT (Note to the Designer: If you donot understand any part please send email for my

NOTE 1 - GENERAL NOTES: Main Web Site - The top horizontal tabs (4 rows) the color scheme should be

exact the same as shown. I donot want change here in the color scheme. {Note to Dreamland. For your info

(FYI): These are common colors used by the most successful online bookstores in USA/Canada. I want to follow this.

that.  Again FYI - I have noticed - Japan online bookstores use more blue colors at the beginning (top) . Donot ask me why. May be in

Japan one sucessful company used blue!!!! Tab - try to get tabs with top corner rounded.

Ref 4th row I will send you some designs - Remember it is narrow (height wise) banner. There may

be 4 banners - the banner will change to the next banner when a customer clicks at search field or clicks elsewhere.

Vertical Left and Rignt banners make that to look professional work.

Donot put any other banner on the top horizontal (the beginning /start) as each book graphic display (at the centre

Center Veritical Column - Displays the results of the search Subject. My example are taking more vertical space as there are many spaces. Your design should try to give less verical space per book. Also the book graphic space to be limited. On the first page (Main Page ) NEW RELEASES - limit 3 to 5 books display. BESTSELLERS Limit 10 books . Then one can go to the next page.

 

NOTE 2:  By clicking - customer will get either the list of books related that subject or a web page giving the

descriptionAll click will lead to the list of books. Only the field items  (all of the following NOTES 2 to 10) marked here

will lead to web pages such as: See Notes 2 to 10
